Sarah Cravens began training dogs informally while growing up, and pursued it more seriously in 2021 while fostering through Muddy Paws Rescue. After adopting her first dog, foster failure Huck—a Border Collie mix—she enrolled him in agility classes at Brooklyn Dog Training Center and became actively involved in dog sports.
She currently trains and competes in agility and obedience with Huck and her Australian Shepherd mix, Teddy. She also participates in Barn Hunt, Fast CAT, and recreational ratting. Sarah is also currently doing all the foundation training with her Border Collie puppy, Lumi.
Sarah Cravens focuses on clear communication, practical skill-building, and helping clients develop reliable behaviors they can use in everyday life. She works with both companion dogs and sport teams, bringing hands-on experience from her own training and competition work.
She is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and regularly pursues continuing education to expand her knowledge and refine her training approach.
